Underground Atlanta-based hip hop artist V.E.X. has released a scorching diss to hip hop heavyweight Rick Ross over his B.M.F. track, the underground rapper rips Rick Ross over his own beat and continued the great debate whether or not the life Rick Ross born William Leonard Roberts portrays is real or not. The self-proclaimed boss credibility was called into question back in 2009 when it was published online by The Smoking Gun website that William L. Roberts was a corrections officer in south Florida for nearly two years. He was forced to come out and admit that he was a corrections officer once all the evidence Smoking Gun obtained matched his date of birth and social security number. Ross admitted in May 2009 to XXL Magazine that "Me taking that job, I was doing my job", and that everything he raps about is real. Still alot of hip hop purists wasn't buying it then and are still not buying it now. Hip hop heavyweight and fellow label mate Young Jeezy did a heated freestyle over the same B.M.F. track and Ross was signaled out indirectly about his questionable street credibility. But to alot of fans it doesn't matter, as long as he continues to make solid and catchy music all is forgiven. But alot of the streets think he's a big fraud. He took a real live street legends name and made it his monicker. He took someone's legal name that was already a household name and became famous with it without compensating the real Rick Ross. Whether officer Ricky responds or not remains to be seen but for now the underground is bubbling with this new scorching diss record by V.E.X.
