Michael Enright a 21 year old caucasion film student from New York alledgedly stabbed Ahmed Sharif a Muslim cab driver on Aug. 24th. Today he was denied bail in New York by Supreme Court Justice Richard Carruthers. Enright's next court date is scheduled for Sept.22nd. at which the Judge could agree to certain conditions of a bond. Enright's lawyer Lawrence Fisher downplayed Sharif's injuries calling his wounds superficial. Assistant D.A. James Zaleta countered "if the driver had not moved a tiny bit the doctors at Bellevue said he would have been deadat the scene". Stay tuned, we will keep you up to date as this case progress.
