Earlier this evening I spoke by phone for about 15 minutes with the legendary Janet Jackson, whose singing and acting are featured in two Tyler Perry films that came out this year, “Why Did I Get Married Too” (Lionsgate, 4/2, trailer) and “For Colored Girls” (Lionsgate, 11/5, trailer), and who might well score the second best original song Oscar nod of her career for “Nothing,” a soft, pleading ballad — and perhaps a tribute to her late brother Michael Jackson — that can be heard on the soundtrack of the former film.
